Phase Fatale

Berlin-based DJ and producer Hayden Payne, known as Phase Fatale, has been redefining techno since 2014. With a career spanning over a decade, he has established himself as a resident at Berghain and Khidi, and serves as the head of @bitelabel. His music, characterized by gnarly basslines, sensual narratives, and mind-control mechanics, has been released on labels such as Ostgut Ton, Jealous God, and his own imprint BITE. Phase Fatale's sonic signature pushes techno boundaries while staying true to his vision. In 2018, he launched BITE as a platform for cutting-edge sound production, showcasing a diverse roster of international artists. The label has gained recognition with showcases worldwide and a 5-year anniversary compilation 'Shedding Skin' in 2023. Phase Fatale's recent releases include 'Climbing Silver' on Falling Ethics and 'Transitioning Practice' on Standard-Deviation, showcasing his versatility across techno, EBM, industrial, ambient, electro, experimental, and glitch genres.
