Philo, a DJ and producer based in Cologne, Germany, is known for her eclectic selection that blends UK influences across breakbeat, 4-to-the-floor, house, and techno genres with a touch of nostalgic 90s sound. Her sets aim to tell a story, as demonstrated by her regular appearances at events such as Rupture in London, Fusion, Stone Techno Festival, Warning, HOR in Berlin, Prstr. and Grelle Forelle in Vienna, and her own party series Chop Shop in Hamburg. She has also founded the event series Precey with Marie Montexier, AINO, and no:elia to promote female and non-binary artists in Cologne. Philo's recent releases include the Do It Right EP on Defrostatica and the Chocolat EP on Nice & Deadly.
