Robert Romain

Robert Romain is a German musician known for his work in Deep Melodic House, Indie Dance, and Indie Pop. His musical journey began in 2008 with a debut on Radio MDR Sputnik. In 2009, he was recognized as one of the best newcomer DJs. From 2013 to 2015, his music evolved into two distinct styles: energetic and dynamic DJ sets, and melodic and deep live sets. He moved to Berlin in 2014, where he pursued studies in musicology, media studies, and theatre studies while also working as a music journalist and collaborating with various artists. In the mid-2010s, he performed extensively across Central Europe at festivals such as Sonne Mond Sterne Festival, Love Sea Festival, Sass Club, and Open Beatz Festival. Since 2018, his focus has been on Melodic House with strong influences from Indie Dance, Organic House, Deep House, and Melodic Techno. In 2019, he established the label Different Identities for his own music productions. Since 2023, he has been part of the Love Foundation in Berlin and Magdeburg. Robert is also a co-initiator of the CoSy Festival.
