Martin Stimming, a German record producer hailing from Hamburg, is renowned for his unique and sophisticated approach to house music. At a young age, he introduced an original sound that resonated with the electronic world, earning him recognition from acclaimed labels such as Solomun's Diynamic Music, Freerange, liebe*detail, Buzzin' Fly, Green, and Poker Flat. His debut album, Reflections (2009), was met with critical acclaim, establishing him as a promising new producer of his generation. His second album, Liquorice, showcased a progressive exploration of territories beyond the typical kick-clap/snare template, while maintaining his signature texture, emotion, and discovery. Stimming's productions are characterized by a multitude of unique field recordings, with each sample used only once. His live shows have captivated audiences at renowned venues like Berlin's Panorama Bar, Sao Paulo's D-Edge, Brussels Fuse, London's fabric, and Paris Rex, among others. In recent years, Stimming has released the albums Friedrich (2025) and Elderberry (2023), both under his own label, Stimming Recordings. His sound continues to be a blend of downtempo and deep house, showcasing his enduring influence on the electronic music scene.
