Thizzy
Thizzy, a native of Wiesbaden, has been based in the city since birth, largely due to its significant influence on his musical journey. The Schlachthof Cultural Center and the annual Tapefabrik event in Wiesbaden provided initial access to hip-hop culture, with the adjacent Creative Factory becoming a recurring central point in Thizzy's career. In April 2020, Thizzy released "Groschenroman," a melancholic and pessimistic work that received positive responses from its debut, inspiring further releases. Subsequent singles, both solo and collaborative efforts with artists like Peat, Taby Pilgrim, Alieu, or producer Jakepot, followed. Thizzy's debut album-length release is eagerly anticipated, following numerous unreleased songs showcased at events like THIZZY AND FRIENDS in the Creative Factory Wiesbaden and other live performances.
