neànder, a collective formed in 2017, blends elements of Post-Metal, Doom, Stoner, and Modern Black Metal with Ambient music, creating epic, 10-minute tracks that lean towards ritualistic soundscapes. The band comprises members from Blackgazers Ånd, Hardcore Punks Patsy O'Hara, Berlin Sludgers Earth Ship, and Indie outfit Casper. Their self-titled debut album was recorded at Hidden Planet Studios in Berlin and mixed by Jan Oberg from Earth Ship, with mastering by Magnus Lindberg from Cult of Luna. The band chooses to remain instrumental, believing that a singer would limit their musical vision. neànder's debut is set for release on February 22nd via Through Love Records, a DIY label known for distributing works by artists such as God Is An Astronaut, Fjørt, Wayste, Lirr, and Svalbard.
