Valeska, a Leipzig-based artist and DJ, is recognized for her sets and mixes that showcase an affinity for dynamic rhythmic structures, innovative sounds, forceful stabs, and unsettling atmospheres. Her performances seamlessly transition from gentle embraces to powerful impacts. Valeska's musical explorations extend beyond the stage, as evidenced by her contributions to Leipzig’s Prepaid Records label and various radio shows on Retreat Radio, n10.as, and Radio Alhara. She is associated with Leipzig’s Pracht crew, co-founder of the event series rewind, the tape label Shell Tapes, and the DJ collective L1CK, which focuses on contemporary club music trends. Valeska's musical style encompasses elements of noise, experimental bass, deconstructed breakbeat, and more, as demonstrated in her collaborative set with Sara Persico for Radio Alhara in 2023.
