Woody, a Berlin-based artist, is renowned for his unique take on funk-infused techno and house music. With a career that began in Munich's graffiti and breakdance scene in the mid-80s, he quickly established himself as a skilled DJ. Relocating to Berlin in the early 90s, Woody became resident DJ at the influential E-Werk club, later known as Planet. His career has been marked by his enduring presence in Berlin's house and techno scene, witnessing its evolution from dominance to underground resurgence. Co-founder of the acclaimed party series Heidegluhen, Woody is celebrated for his no-nonsense approach to music and his commitment to creating intimate, internationally acclaimed house music experiences.
