D'Julz
D'Julz, born Julien Veniel, emerged in the Parisian underground scene of the early '90s. His sound, a fusion of dub and stripped-down house and techno, was honed in New York's dancefloors before returning to Paris where he launched Bass Culture, an enduring party at the Rex Club. His productions, released on labels like 20:20 Vision, Ovum, Circus Company, Robsoul, Rekids, and his own Bass Culture Records, are characterized by their raw, uncompromising nature. His sets at Circoloco's DC10 in Ibiza were renowned for their euphoric yet ominous vibe. In 2026, D'Julz continues to deliver captivating performances, as evidenced by his sets at Refuge in New York and a b2b session with Malika at Bass Culture/Rex Club in Paris. His music remains a testament to the enduring influence of the Parisian underground scene on contemporary dance music.
D'Julz played in Panorama Bar at Berghain Klubnacht on 5 July 2026.
